Emir of Kano, Sanusi Replies Boko Haram: 'Nothing Will Happen To Me

Boko Haram last weekend released a video threatening to attack the Emir of Kano, Muhammadu Sanusi II, in retaliation for the Emir’s call on Kano residents and other Nigerians to arm and defend themselves against the terror organization. In the new video, Mr. Shekau said his group does not consider Mr. Sanusi a true Muslim, and will attack him whenever an opportunity presents itself.

In what appears to be a reply to the Boko Haram leader, Shekau, the Emir of Kano, His Royal Highness, Muhammad Sanusi II, said that he remained protected against any evil attack and nothing
was going to happen to him except the will of Allah, the creator.

“I am protected and nothing is going to happen to me”, the Emir stated.

Shameless Act: Radio Host Gets his Booty Eaten by Girl while on Air (Photo)

A radio station in Chile called 'Top 40' held a contest earlier this week offering their listeners tickets to the giant EDM festival Mysteryland. They asked listeners how far they’d go to get tickets and one woman who said she really, really wanted to attend said she would eat the booty of a DJ at the station.

Turns out the lady was a woman of her word, because the station tweeted out (and quickly deleted) a picture of the act taking place. See it after the cut. The photo sparked outrage online and the station had to apologize.

Mayhem ensued during a match between Ranchers Bees of Kaduna and Kwara United of Ilorin at the FIFA goal project pitch Abuja, yesterday when an irate mob of fans attacked the referee. According to Footballlive.ng, about 18 mins into the game, the referee had awarded a penalty to the Afonja warriors to the displeasure of players of Ranchers Bees. However, before the penalty could be taken, the referee was attacked by irate fans bringing the game to an abrupt halt.

Team manager of the Ilorin based NNL side Kwara United FC, Masambo Ibrahim told that footballlive.ng:

“We started the match around 10:30am, and as the match was on, we were having upper hand in the game and two of their players handled the ball inside the penalty area and the referee awarded a penalty.

According to Daily Mail, Kirsti and Jason Kinkle of Lincoln, California were so excited to welcome their daughter Kiira into the world in October, but devastated when they learned she was suffering from a condition called recessive dystrophic epidermolysis bullosa.

This means that Kiira's skin will blister or tear from rubbing, friction, scratching or, worst of all, even a hug.

'A clothing tag or rough fabric or even me picking her up under her arm can cause blisters,' Kristi told KCRA.

'I can't hold her hand because it's constantly bandaged. There is no skin-to-skin contact.'

Police arrest robbers at Redemption Camp, others (Pictured)

A 26-year-old man identified as Emmanuel Olowu who was recently arrested at the Redemption Camp of the Redeemed Christian Church of God while trying to rob worshipers was paraded alongside other suspected armed robbers by the Ogun state Police command at the Force Head quarters in Abeokuta, yesterday December 18th.

Parading the suspects before newsmen, the state's Police Public Relations Officer, Muyiwa Adejobi, said Emmanuel was apprehended with a toy gun, phones and money. Adejobi said the other suspects were arrested while carrying out robbery attacks in some towns in the state.

Shocking: 8 siblings found stabbed to death at their home in Cairns, Australia (PHOTOS)

 The bodies of eight children who are siblings and aged between 18 months and 15-years-old, were found at a home in Cairns, Australia in the early hours of today Dec. 19th following a massacre.

Their mother was also stabbed but she survived and is currently in critical condition in the hospital.

Detective Inspector Bruno Asnicar said that the woman was the mother of seven of the dead children with the other child a relation. He described the massacre as a 'tragic and traumatic event'. Scores of detectives, paramedics and forensic officers have swarmed over the home on Murray St in Manoora, around 4km west of the coastal town's main tourist strip.

Justice Oluwatoyin Ipaye of the Lagos State High Court sitting in Ikeja has convicted and sentenced one Benjamin Segun Bright to 63 years imprisonment without option of fine. The convict was arraigned on July 10, 2012 by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, for stealing the sum of N4,994,000( Four Million, Nine Hundred and Ninety-Four Thousand Naira only from various investors, whom he deceived by making them believed that their money would be invested in his purported companies.

Son Stabs Father In The Eye Over Christmas Clothes

A secondary school student in Oshodi area of Lagos threw decorum to the wind yesterday, when he stabbed his father in the right eye for failing to buy him Christmas clothes. 

Leadership reports that the boy, a Senior Secondary School (SSS3) student, who was identified simply as Ikechi, was said to have held his father, Anthony, hostage for some minutes in their apartment on Arowojobe Street, Osodi, before committingthe dastardly act, because the man failed to buy him Christmas clothes.

 According to family members, Anthony was said to have explained to Ikechi that he had only “small money” which barely paid for the Christmas clothes of his three siblings, but all appeals made by his father fell on deaf ears.

14yr old boy executed in South Carolina in 1944 finally exonerated (Pictured)

70 years after 14 year old George Stinney Jnr. was executed for allegedly beating two young white girls to death in Alcolu, South Carolina, a judge yesterday Wednesday Dec 17th threw out his murder conviction.

When George was executed in 1944, he was so small he had to seat on a phone book in the electric chair. He's officially the youngest person to be executed in the U.S. in the 20th century.

George was found guilty of beating the girls, 11 and 8 years old with a railroad spike. His trial lasted only three hours and it took the a jury of all white people just 10 minutes to find him guilty - this was just 3 months after the girls were found murdered. This was back when there was a lot of segregation in America.
