When you heard the news that Toke Makinwa’s husband impregnated his girlfriend, you all took to social media to rain insults on Nigerian men. Why men cheat on women they love became a topic for all female radio presenters in the country. Aren’t you all tired of asking the same question over and over as if it is some perplexing unfathomable mystery? Your question is rhetorical, but since it keeps coming up again and again, let me provide some explanations to help you understand the reasons. I will simply tell it like it is, with no bull, tact, or political correctness. It’s just that oftentimes; women do not accept the explanations. But in fact, one can understand it through common sense. Sometimes a man would cheat on his wife or girlfriend because he doesn’t love her anymore; he is bored with her, or even possibly unhappy with their relationship.

LAGOS: Lekki Bank Robbery Suspect Sues Police for N1m

One of the four Lekki bank robbery suspects has taken the police to court, asking for N1million damages for alleged unlawful detention.

Ebi Tosan who was arrested on April 5, in a suit at the Ikeja High Court in Lagos prayed that the police be directed to release him on bail. He claimed that it was unlawful for the police to keep him in detention without bail.

Respondents in the suit are Lagos State Commissioner of Police and the Officer-in-Charge of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) in Ikeja.

DELTA: Housewife Caught Having Sex with Lover, Fined N50,000

A 29-year-old house wife, identified simply as Vero, has been accused of infidelity in Irri community, in the Isoko South Local Government Area of Delta State.

Her husband, identified as Ben, on Thursday told the elders of the community that he caught his wife in illicit love affair in an uncompleted building. According to sources, Umukoro insisted that the elders must dissolve the marriage in line with the tradition of the Isoko people.

EFCC probe of Edo must start from 1999 – Gov. Oshiomhole replies PDP

Edo State Governor, Adams Oshiomhole, has reacted to the call by the state Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, Dan Orbih, on the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, to institute a probe into Edo State Local Government account.

He, however, said such investigation must start from 1999.

The Governor, in a statement on Monday by his Special Adviser, Media and Public Affairs, Prince Kassim Afegbua said his achievements in the last six years far superseded that of the PDP’s ten years of presiding over the State.

Speeding truck kills couple,son in Anambra State (Photos)

Yesterday, a couple, and their first child were killed around Anambra State Government House, ,Aestwka, during an accident involving a truck.

According to Southern City News, the couple, with their four children, were travelling back to their base in Enugu State after a weekend in their Ukwu, Anambra hometown, when the incident happened.The father was identified as Mr. Ikechukwu Odinegwe.

SAD: Teenager who was raped in Abia state commits suicide (see her pic)

This 14 year old girl named Chiawolam Comfort Umeh (pictured above) committed suicide on July 7th after she was gruesomely gang-raped by 3 men on June 28th at Iyienyi Village, near Okwoyi Community, in Isieke, Ibeku, in Umuahia North LGA of Abia State. SAD: Tupac Shakur's former group member dies

Hussein Fatal was a member of The Outlawz, formerly known as Outlaw Immortalz and Dramacydal, an American hip hop group founded by Tupac Shakur in late 1995 after his release from prison.

He was killed yesterday July 11th in a car accident. He was 38. Details surrounding the fatal car crash have yet to emerge. His sudden death has been confirmed by fellow group members EDI & Napoleon via their social media accounts.

President Buhari recalls ambassadors...

President Muhammadu Buhari has recalled Nigerian non-career ambassadors in foreign countries.
It was learnt that the ambassadors were recalled as part of efforts to reposition the country’s foreign policies.
 The Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Mr. Femi Adesina, confirmed the recall.
Adesina said only non-career ambassadors are affected in the recall.

“Yes, I can confirm to you that non-career ambassadors have been recalled by the Federal Government,” the presidential spokesman said.
