'Your Sojourn In APC Will Fail' - Muazu To Atiku, G5 Governors, Others

Alhaji Adamu Mu'azu, the new National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has said that the journey embarked by Atiku Abubakar, five governors and other members of the party who defected to the opposition, All Progressives Congress (APC) will not be successful.

Mu'azu made this known when  he received the Katsina State delegation of the PDP led by governor Ibrahim Shema at Wadata Plaza, PDP National Secretariat.

Despite describing their sojourn as unsuccessful, he begged them to return to PDP.
"I appeal to those our members who have been wronged and decided to embark on a journey that is not successful to come back home," he said.

Speaking earlier, Katsina State governor, Ibrahim Shema, who noted that PDP and Katsina were inseparable, boasted that PDP remains a party of choice for them in Katsina, while also wishing Mu'azu well in his efforts at reforming PDP.

CONFUSION: How 4 Men Took Turns Raping 12-Year-Old Girl, Got Her Pregnant

Kehinde Williams, a 12- year old pupil was alleged raped by four men who are her father's tenants and now she is pregnant.

Kehinde was raped repeatedly at different times mostly on her mother’s bed by Shaibu Isiaka, 29; John Obah, 30; Vincent 28, who are now in police custody while the remaining one identified as Idris, is currently on the run.

This abuse has been going on and would have gone unnoticed if Kehinde hadn't gotten pregnant.
The victim who lives with her mother in Oworonshoki, a suburb of Lagos State lost her father last year January and her mother, Mrs. Shade Williams who is a petty trader has been the one taking care of her and her two siblings.

Speaking with journalist, Mrs Williams said, she didn't notice the changes in her daughter that suggested she was pregnant.

"I didn’t notice the change but had observed that her buttocks were getting fatter and I thought the food she was eating has started manifesting in her adding some flesh. Apart from the food she was eating at home, whenever she was going to school, I used to give her much money so that she would not be interested in what other pupils were buying or eating. I do everything to make her happy and comfortable. Nothing like pregnancy ever came to my mind; I never imagined such because each time I asked her the last time she saw her monthly menstrual period, she told me, last month."

She said after her neighbours suggested she check her daughter to find out if she's pregnant, she asked her to urinate into a cup which she took to a medical laboratory and the result was positive. She then took her for pregnancy scan and the scan revealed that she was already six months pregnant.

Mrs William was further confused when her daughter started mentioning names of the tenants who had been violating her and narrating the whole ordeal.

According toKehinde who said the men used to take turns raping her when she comes back from school, she didn't tell her mother of the incident earlier because she was afraid of what her mother would do to her.
The family is now waiting for the baby to be born, to carry out a DNA test to determine who among the four men is the father of the baby.

Adedibu’s son, 30 others escape death in near plane crash in Abuja

31 passengers, including the son of late Ibadan politician, Lamidi Adedibu, Sen Kamoru Adedibu, escaped death yesterday after an Overland Airlines aircraft they boarded caught fire shortly before take off at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja yesterday.

Saturday Tribune reports that the plane, scheduled for Ibadan from Abuja at 4:52p.m. was about to take off when it started emitting smoke from one of its engines.
One of the passengers who spoke with Saturday Tribune said the about 31 passengers of the plane were already seated before the incident.
“We first observed that engineers were frantically fiddling with the plane’s engine. Then we suddenly saw smoke. It is not funny at all. All of us, including a senator, rushed out of the plane. Continue...

“We were subsequently evacuated by airport officials. As I am speaking with you now (8:30p.m.), we are waiting for another plane from Ilorin, which we have been promised will take us to Ibadan. We thank God,” she said.
Senator Adedibu described the incident as a horrible experience but thanked God that it did not happen mid-air.
He commended the pilot, the crew and airport officials for being observant and for the prompt rescue operation. He also confirmed that all the passengers were still at the Abuja airport at 8:45p.m. when Saturday Tribune spoke with him.

...and Dencia makes it to UK Daily Mail

Hasn't Whitenicous given Dencia way more recognition than her music ever did? Mainstream media have now taken an interest in her. MediaTakeOut, Ebony magazine, The Chutch and now UK's Daily Mail. If I were Dencia, I won't feel any type of way about the headline...they are helping her sell her market for free. lol. Find the full text of Daily Mail's article on Dencia after the cut...

Culled from UK Daily Mail

A Nigerian and Cameroonian pop star who launched a skin cream called Whitenicious has defended her product after critics branded it an 'abomination' for promoting skin-bleaching
.
In an interview with Ebony, Dencia claims that the skincare cream is intended to remove dark spots, and that it is out of her control if customers use it to whiten their entire skin.

Defending her own drastically altered appearance since she started using Whitenicious, the singer asserts: 'I was never that dark in real life... And guess what? I don't even care because [critics] are bringing me business.'

According to the product website, Whitenicious - which bears the slogan, 'Say goodbye to pigmentation and spots forever' - effectively lightens skin in just seven days.
Skin bleaching is a growing trend in Dencia's native West Africa, and critics are angered that it appears she is promoting it with her product.

Specifically, the pop star has been criticized for using her own changing skin tone as a marketing technique. Pictures of Dencia taken in 2011 show her with much darker pigmentation compared to the Whitenicious campaign where she appears several shades lighter.

'When you take that picture and you put a picture of Dencia darker, this is what you're telling people - the product really works. And guess what? People really want to buy it. It's what it is. I don't really care,' the singer admitted.

Still, she refutes the idea that she is glorifying lighter skin, claiming it is for removing dark spots only and that she came up with the name because it's symbolic for 'fresh beginnings' and 'purification'.
She then elaborates by saying: 'Look at all the Africans that are successful in the world. They are as Black as Alek Wek. And if I was as Black as Alek Wek, I would never ever use anything on my skin.'

Ultimately, Dencia admits than Whitenicious can indeed be used to bleach skin, but that most women wouldn't use it this way because of its luxury price point.
'I don't see anybody spending all that money to bleach their entire skin,' she says of her product, which costs $60 for a small pot and $160 for a large one. 'I don’t see that happening.'
Without skipping a beat, though, she proceeds to contradict herself by asserting that if a customer were to bleach her entire skin, it would be beyond her control.

Finally, when Dencia is warned that skin-lightening cream has been proven to cause cancer, she counters: 'But guess what? The air you breathe outside causes you cancer.  Everything in the world causes cancer.'

When Dencia launched Whitenicious in January and saw it sell out within 24 hours, critics took to Twitter to voice their outrage that she would promote a phenomenon that has come to symbolize self-hatred among dark-skinned women.

One person posted a tweet directed at her, writing: 'This #whitenicious cream of yours is an abomination and creating more insecurities among women all over the world.'

And another said: 'When Martin Luther King, Jr. said, "I have a dream…" The dream was not to become white.'

Uzoenyi Returns From SA Without A Deal

Super Eagles team B midfielder Ejike Uzeoenyi returned from South Africa where he helped the Eagles to a third place finish at the the CAF African Nations Championship without tying down a deal with any of the South African premier league clubs that wanted him.

Uzoenyi was voted the most valuable player of the tournament after a thrilling performance. He had stayed back hoping to make a switch from Rangers of Enugu.

“I’m back in Nigeria now after holding talks with a club in South Africa. Nothing has been agreed upon yet but my manager will continue to discuss with them,” Uzoenyi declared Reports emerged from South Africa this week claiming that Uzoenyi held talks with SuperSport United.
The fleet-footed left winger has through his lawyers written to Rangers for his release as a free player from the ‘Flying Antelopes’ fold in the third week of January.

Uzoenyi joined Rangers from Enyimba in the 2009/2010 season in exchange for Bishop Onyeudo and has risen steadily to be the highest paid player of ‘The Flying Antelopes’. Rangers general manager Paul Chibuzor insisted Uzoenyi remains a player of the club and if he moves overseas, Rangers will get what is due to them.

“We are very happy by the successes recorded by our players at the recent CHAN competition and much happier with the fact that clubs are scrambling for the services of some of them especially, Ejike Uzoenyi who is still our player,” said the top Rangers official.

“Details for any move have not been completed but when it becomes clear, we shall celebrate it. Ejike Uzoenyi is and remains a Rangers player. I am not aware of any move to deny Rangers what belongs to them.”

Fabregas Challenges Arsenal

Barcelona midfielder Cesc Fabregas has challenged former side Arsenal to maintain their consistency ahead of what could be a crucial Premier League run-in.

The table-topping Gunners visit Liverpool on Saturday lunchtime, and a win would seem them extend their lead over Chelsea and Manchester City to five points.

Fabregas, who played for Arsenal from 2003-2011, said he would be delighted to see his old team win the title, but admitted it was difficult to keep a run going as the season reaches the business end.

Speaking to the Daily Mail, Fabregas said, “It would be amazing (if they won the league), they need to be very consistent between now and the end of the season.

“I am very happy how they are playing, they have a strong squad, they are top of the league. I cannot wait to see if they can lift the trophy finally.”

PHOTO: 18-Year-Old Girl Kills Herself After Her Boyfriend Dumped Her

An 18-year-old girl has killed herself because after being dumped by her 'controlling' boyfriend.
Lena, who studied at Blackburn College met Mr Ahmed, known as 'Kammy', in October 2012 and was said to be 'controlling' and treated her 'poorly'.

Her worried parents had become so concerned about the relationship that they had even reported Lena missing several times from the family home in Reedley.

Lena had threatened to harm herself saying she was not afraid of dying' and that 'death held no fear for her' after Mr Ahmed hit her on her 18th birthday and told her he no longer wanted a relationship.

According to Lena’s friend, Taslena Alam said that she was 'mentally obsessed' and 'crazy' about Ahmed, and had even etched the name 'Kammy' into her arm, saying Lena would 'drop everything' to meet Mr Ahmed whenever he called, and as the relationship developed she went from being 'happy and fun' to 'depressed'.

She said lena had confined in her the evening she died saying Lena was saying how he didn’t love her and she just wanted him to love her, that she does everything for him and he doesn’t do anything.

Lena was later spotted walking down the motorway slip road and into oncoming traffic, recording messages to loved ones as she held her mobile phone.

Lena who was hit after walking in front of the van was pronounced dead at the scene despite attempts to save her. Records showed she had spoken to Ahmed twice on the phone for around 30 minutes.
Meanwhile Lena had posted a picture to Facebook and Twitter, and earlier in the evening before she died posted messages on social networking sites saying 'I just wana say a big thank you ta all my true mates that have been there for me & my family, love ya loads.' Only thing that I would want from ya is ta remember me please more than anything else.'

Lena’s mother Selina Begum said: 'She was a lovely girl, everyone loved her. She was my only girl, she had two younger brothers who she looked after.

'As a mother this has been really traumatic.  My life is over, only when I’m dead will this be gone. She was a bright girl studying dentistry, hoping to become a dental nurse.

'She had wanted to do chemistry. Her death hurts so much.'

CRAZY: Woman Secretly "Steals" Man's Sperm During Oral Sex And 2 Yrs Later Sues Him For Child Support

This incident, which occurred a few years ago, now has become a cautionary tale for men who don’t think that a doctor can be as scandalous as a stripper or who think that there is only one way for a woman to get pregnant.

Two doctors ended up fighting it out in court after a male doctor attempted to argue that he deserves damages for emotional distress after the woman allegedly stole his sperm to make a baby without his permission. He also wanted to charge the woman with theft, but instead, the court ruled that it was a “gift.”
Dr. Richard O. Phillips claimed that Dr. Sharon Irons gave him “oral pleasure” and allowed him to release his baby making juice into her mouth.

Then, according to him, she secretly saved his sperm, so that she could insert them into a test tube to create her own pregnancy. The good doctor was extremely careful not to get the woman pregnant by only having a certain kind of intimacy with her, but she apparently had other plans.

The man says that he was stunned to find out two years later that he was the subject of a paternity suit from a woman who never let him know what she was doing after their little “get togethers.”
The troubled doctor was ordered to pay $800 per month in child support for the baby he didn’t know he made.

A higher court supported Dr. Phillips’ claim after a lower court dismissed it, stating that the woman “deceitfully engaged in sexual acts, which no reasonable person would expect could result in pregnancy, to use plaintiff’s sperm in an unorthodox, unanticipated manner yielding extreme consequences.”
But the court also says that the man’s “deposit” into the woman was simply a “gift”: “An absolute and irrevocable transfer of title to property from a donor to a done.”

The court also stated that: “There was no agreement that the original deposit would be returned upon request.”

Financial Lovemaking lessons:

1) Whenever you sleep with a person who might be deceptive, you’re responsible for whatever comes of that situation. Even situations that might seem safe may not be as secure as you may think.

2) The courts don’t usually care where a baby came from, that you didn’t want it or that you made it by “accident.” All they care about is the fact that the baby needs to eat and you’re the parent. End of story.

3) Even educated professionals can have emotional issues that cause them to do deceptive things. Never let a nice car or good job fool you. There are disturbed people everywhere.

I Do Not Need 40 Man List - Keshi

Coach of the Super Eagles of Nigeria, Stephen Keshi, has made it known that he will not be announcing a 40-man squad, for the 2014 FIFA World Cup, which will take place in Brazil.

The former Mali and Togo boss, says that a large number will only result in distraction.

“I don’t need a 40-man squad. I just need a number that will not distract us from what we want to do but it won’t be up to 40,” Keshi told Kickoffnigeria
Keshi also left the door open for some of the players, that featured in the bronze-winning CHAN squad and says he could select up to five of them for the World Cup.

“I have from one to five players from this [CHAN] team that will be in that team.
“Everybody will have equal opportunities to get in the team that goes to the World Cup, so everybody will have to work hard.

“They were great. People don’t realize how hard these boys worked. But they gave everything and I’m proud of them,” he concluded.

Nigeria will face Mexico in a warm up match against on March 5 in Houston, Texas

2015: Jonathan’s Ambition Splits Northern Elders

A pro-Jonathan northern elder’s group known as the Northern Elders Council (NEC) under the chairmanship of an elder statesman, Tanko Yakassai was yesterday inaugurated in Kaduna, with the group pledging its total support for the Jonathan/Sambo ticket in 2015.

But the Northern Elders Forum (NEF) said it remains firm in its commitment to produce a northern President come 2015, adding that President Goodluck Jonathan has performed unsatisfactorily and must give way for a president from the northern region, irrespective of political party affiliation.

In his address, the NEC chairman, Alhaji Yakassai said the council was established to protect the socio-economic and political interests of the North, as well as the corporate existence and stability of Nigeria.
A communiqué issued at the end of the inauguration of the NEC as read by Ambassador Yusuf Mamman partly reads: “The Northern Elders Council pledges its full support and commitment to work for the success of President Goodluck Jonathan and Vice President Mohammed Namadi Sambo.

“NEC applauds the excellent working relationship between President Goodluck Jonathan and Arc Mohammed Namadi Sambo, the Vice President and political leader of the north and urges them to continue to work together in harmony.”

Meanwhile, the spokesperson of NEF, Dr Paul Unongo in a telephone interview on the emergence of NEC said, “As far as I am concerned, if I have the right to form the Northern Elders Forum (NEF) and if another old man from the north and his group feel we are not pursuing their interest properly, they are free to form their own. We will x-ray what they are doing; if they are fronting for somebody it will be easy to know; we know what the north wants and if they are doing the same thing because they want to have a name and be recognised as a group, it does not make any difference to us.”

Speaking on 2015, Dr Unongo said, “It is their right; they should canvass it if they can sell Jonathan. As far as we are concerned, come next year, the president must come from the 19 states of northern Nigeria.”
Commenting, the President of the Arewa Defence League (ADL), Murtala Abubakar expressed disappointment with the emergence of the new elders group, describing it as unhealthy.

According to the Arewa group, “Yakassai and his group declaring support for Jonathan/Sambo for 2015 at this time is unwise. We want to put them on notice that the northern youths are tired of this nonsense; we are noting all their antecedents and we will soon hold them accountable for all the problems of the northern region; the least we expect from them is unity of the region”, he stressed.

Mbu's Farewell Gift To RIVERS STATE: Patience Jonathan's Thugs Of Her Political Allies Released

Rivers State - Six militia men arrested by the Joint Task Force in Rivers State on January 3, 2014, have been released on the orders of Nigeria's First Lady, Patience Jonathan, according to SaharaReporters.

It will be recalled that the six men in an white Land Rover jeep were stopped on Ekporo Road while heading to Ogu Bolo Local Government Area for "suspicious movement". Among those arrested were Daniel Ibito-Anga, Sunday Elisha, Uche Jenikachi, Ibinabo Lawson, and Okechukwu Okoro. They possessed AK47 rifles, 146 rounds of 7.62mm Special live ammunition and 10 magazines.

Ibito-Anga is known in Ogu Bolo as Security Adviser/PA to Senator George Sekibo (Rivers East Senatorial District) and Evans Bipi, who, in their turn, are close associates of Patience Jonathan. Bipi is the legislator who was recently stopped by a court from parading himself as the Speaker of the Assembly.

Their release was first ordered by Mrs. Patience on January 6, but at that time Rivers State Police Commissioner, Joseph Mbu (redeployed on Thursday to Abuja) could not comply, as the order became public knowledge.

Despite holding the men, Commissioner Mbu did not charge them to court. Other security agencies say Mr. Mbu kept telling them that investigations were still going on - only to find out that the susects were released on Wednesday.

Rivers State Police command are yet to comment on the matter.

Graphic photos: Soldier pictured stabbing man to death in front of a crowd

A group of soldiers in the Central African Republic lynched a man they suspected was a rebel minutes after hearing the new president's promise to restore security at a ceremony to reinstate the divided country's armed forces.

About 20 uniformed soldiers accused a member of the crowd of having belonged to Seleka - the mostly Muslim rebel group that seized power in a coup last March, before stabbing him repeatedly until he was dead.

A soldier stamped on the lifeless body, which was then dragged nearly naked through the streets as residents looked on and took photographs. Continue...
Ten minutes earlier the new interim president, Catherine Samba-Panza, stood just 20m away where she addressed a crowd of at least 1,000 soldiers.

The Army effectively disappeared during nine months of Seleka rule. She told the gathering at a training ground in the capital Bangui: 'Within a month, I would like to fully secure the greater part of the country and I aim to stick to my word.'

Seleka disbanded after Samba-Panza's inauguration last month and is deeply resented by the Christian majority after months of lootings and killings.

Peter Bouckaert, emergencies director at Human Rights Watch in Bangui, tweeted that the corpse of the lynched man had been burned.

He posted a photograph showing a man holding up a severed limb next to a bonfire, as an armed French soldier gestured in the background.

The See Finish Syndrome (For couples only) by Charlyboy

A very interesting article written by Charly Boy. Enjoy below...
When two people, lovers, friends, partners or even team mates can consistently predict one another's moves like clockwork, it is called see finish
See finish can help one in fully understanding your partner. However, see finish in a marriage has its own bad sides, if not checked can lead to the death of DESIRE in a marriage, especially, sexually. That's when couples start to take each other for granted and no longer as granted. See finish in a marriage is when one spouse is desperately yearning for more sex, connection or physical closeness, and the other for whatever reason seems a bit unconcerned about their partner’s feelings, or just not with it any more.
For instance, if in the beginning of a  marriage, a couple enjoyed going out together and five years into their  union as husband and wife both or one of them starts to hate the idea of hanging out with their  spouse, hummmmmm SEE FINISH has entered the matter.

See finish is when your spouse is no longer attractive sexually, when you start looking at your spouse as a sister or a brother.  SEE FINISH in a marriage is when one spouse is desperately yearning for more sex, connection or physical closeness, and the other for whatever reason seems a bit unconcerned about their partner’s feelings, or just not with it any more. For married people, it's when making love has become a chore instead of a reaffirmation of love and intimacy. The worse stage of See finish in a marriage is when desire finally dies. Do you know that there are couples who haven't made it to their 10th year in marriage and already there is little or no action in their bedroom? If their desire has finally kicked the bucket before year ten, we that have survived 37yrs should ask for a divorce or what? There are couples who have lost all intimacy in their marriage, some of them live under the same roof like total strangers, and some are just cohabiting. It's crazy but it's true.

Meeehn, I know it's not easy waking up to the same face, the same smell, the same breast, the same person year in year out, but everything special takes working at, takes cultivation, takes patience and the will power to want to make it work. "Too much of the same woman can kill ones manhood" obviously that was scripted or corned by a man to justify his wondering penis. Hummmmmm, and I will always ask, can too much of the same penis kill a woman's desire for the same man? After all what's good for the goose should be good for the gander, abi how una see am. But guess what, more women these days are caught up in this see finish Syndrome more than the men care to admit, I swear.

This much I can say with all certainty, that desire dwindles in marriages if you don't work on keeping the flame burning, if you’re not observant in noticing that some things have changed, if finally you can't just be bothered about fixing it. No marriage can escape the SEE FINISH syndrome, either couples are prepared to work on it and work it out when it rears its ugly head or forget about any form of intimacy whatsoever. I can understand couples who have been together for at least 50yrs, that's when we are pardoned for just being brothers and sisters and best friends, maybe no longer sexual lovers. Some of us can't even make it to our 10th year without feeling sexually suffocating. Please I’m not preaching here, because I’m no saint, but I know I am where I am today because I work at it.

Does any of this sound familiar? Is your marriage going through a bad patch because of the SEE FINISH syndrome? Would you want to work at it, or would you rather let it die completely? The choice is really yours. For me I enjoy my "reserved" status especially as CharlyBoy. Maybe because I’m all played out, or maybe because I have seen it all, I have chosen to respect myself especially my body and continue to work with the devil I know than the beauty queen to come. I have passed through the see finish syndrome phase before, it was only my determination to put all my real joy in one basket that made me sort myself out and battle to get my groove back. It wasn't easy at all, but after all I am Charlyboy, and I can do anything I set my mind to, Right?

Couples can fight about anything, but if they can kiss and make love, it soothes the bad feelings; it's like a rebirth, a forgiving ritual. But when your spouse is deprived of even that, bitterness, resentment and desperation accumulates. If your spouse’s libido has been slacking, just know that the most powerful sexual organ is between your ears, you need to approach your partner with greater understanding, compassion and wisdom. It may be difficult but talk to your spouse because you both need to make adjustments if you are to have a healthier marriage. Find out how you both can rekindle the flame. If your spouse can't or doesn't want to see that there is heavy gbege and doesn't want to change, then, you have to decide if a low sex marriage is a deal breaker for you. My people, this matter no easy joor, I don talk my own sha.
