Baby stolen at naming ceremony in ritualist's custody (See Photo)

 

Daniel Ogundele, the father of the 20-month-old baby, Opeyemi Ogundele, who was allegedly stolen at a christening ceremony in Ogun State on Sunday, said his child is still alive in the den of suspected kidnappers. Ogundele said as at 10:00pm on Monday when he allegedly had a phone conversation with an Ifa priest, Chief Olansile Ifayemi, who was accused of masterminding the mysterious disappearance of the child has told him that his missing toddler was alive in his custody.

MH370-Wreckage found off African Coast may be missing Malaysian Plane( See Photos)

A Plane wreckage which was discovered off the coast of the Africa is consistent with missing flight MH370

According to reports, investigators confirm the debris, discovered near to the island of Reunion in the Indian Ocean, is that of a Boeing 777.

The Malaysia Airlines jet - also a Boeing 777 - is thought to have come down in the same ocean on March 8 last year.

In March, Toccara Marlesha Huff, 33, and an accomplice were recorded by store surveillance cameras as they swiped $1478 in cologne and perfume from a Tampa business, police allege.

 Henry Chibueze, a 28 year old notorious kidnapper popularly known as “Vampire”, who was on his way to kidnap the tribunal Judges lodged at Disney Hotels along Onitsha-Owerri Road, has been arrested.

Security operatives acting of a "tip-off" tracked him down. He tried to escape but didn't go far without a couple of bullets already deposited in his body. He was later arrested at the house of his elder brother’s wife, where he had gone to get treatment. .

Rowland Nakanda, a brother-in-law to former Delta State governor James Ibori has been sentenced to a UK prison for his involvement in money laundering. London Metropolitan reports below...

Nakanda had previously been found guilty of two counts of money laundering following a month-long trial at Southwark Crown Court and was sentenced on Friday, 24 July. The investigation into Nakanda commenced during the wider inquiry into the corrupt activities of the former governor of Delta State, James Ibori, between 1999 and 2007.

A South Carolina woman has been sentenced to life in prison after she hired a teen to kill a man and he killed the wrong man by mistake.

Authorities say 41-year-old Karlita Desean Phillips of Greenwood hired a 17-year-old to kill her estranged husband in 2013, but he killed her husband's brother, 31-year-old Jamil Phillips, by mistake.


Investigators say Jamil Phillips was ambushed as he slid his key into the door of his home in Abbeville.
