T.B Joshua Reveals The Location Of Missing Malaysian Plane

The mysterious disappearance of Malaysia Airlines plane, a Boeing 777 keeps getting controversial.
The incident took another turn on Sunday, March 9, as Pastor T.B Joshua of The Synagogue, Church Of All Nations - SCOAN revealed the location of the missing airliner which had 239 passengers onboard.

According to the prophet; "The plane concerned is deep inside the sea. Some of the particles will be seen on the surface of the sea any moment from now. May their souls rest in peace. Father Kills Teenager He Finds In Bed With His Daughter

Father shot the 17-year-old boy after having caught him with his teenage in bed with his daughter in her bedroom on Thursday, March 13.

The suspect from Houstoun, USA, reportedly entered the room with a gun asking the victim to identify himself.

According to the police, the man's daughter is said to have told her father that she did not know the boy and that the two were not in bed.

Ordering the victim not to move, the father reportedly noticed the teen reaching for something, at which point police say the father opened fire.

The confrontation between the man and the unarmed boy ended in the teen's death.

The girl later confessed that she actually knew the victim and had let him into the house.

No arrests have been made in connection with the case yet, because the father was rushed to hospital for treatment of an unrelated medical situation.

MAIDUGURI UNREST: Heavy Shooting Between Soldiers And Gunmen, Residents In Panic

Fresh reports from Borno State capital Maiduguri indicate the city has been indulged in heavy fighting between military and Boko Haram insurgents for the control of the state capital.

Punch reports that Maiduguri citizens are in panic, as the heavy shooting is currently taking place between men of the Joint Military Task Force (JTF) and the gunmen dressed like military men.

Students are being hurriedly picked from schools and workers are returning homes.

The streets are reported to gradually becoming desolate except the presence of the warring parties.
Three blasts have rocked Borno capital today morning.

As at the moment of filing this report it is not clear whether the shooting and the explosions are interconnected.

Enugu Govt House Attack: Biafra Group Reveals What They'll Do Next

Enugu Government House was recently attacked by gunmen and Biafra Zionist Federation (BZF) claimed responsibility for the attack.

In a recent telephone interview with reporters, the Leader of the group, Onwuka is threatening to stage another attack  and this time with a well armed team, adding that it will be extended to Owerri, the Imo State capital.

"We are going again to the Government House, Enugu. This time around, we will be fully armed. We must take our headquarters from Nigeria," he said

BOKO HARAM STRIKES AGAIN: Three Large Explosions Rock Maiduguri

The city of Maiduguri in Borno state state has just experienced three large explosions suspected to be a major bomb attack.

It could not be ascertained if the explosions led to deaths or destruction of any kind.

According to sources, the three explosions were heard across the city.

SaharaReporters learnt that fighters from the Islamist sect Boko Haram are attempting to bomb and take over a major military base known as "Giwa barracks" in Maiduguri.

Their attack is believed to be a retaliation for the current pounding of the base of the insurgents in Sambisa, Barga and several others hidden in the savannah north and central parts of the state.

While residents in Maiduguri were preparing to go about their duties, they were greeted with heavy bullet sounds from the Giwa Barracks end of the town which is not very far from the State Government House and polo area.

Heavy shooting was still been heard at the time of this report while several soldiers living around the State hotel were seen dressing up with their bullet proof vests and jumping into their trucks to repel the assault which is believed to have started from a village close to the barracks.

A gunfight is raging in the area as at the time of publishing this report.

Bauchi State Governor Isa Yuguda was a guest on BBC Africa radio show yesterday where he talked about the anti-gay law. He supported the bill and declared that he's not gay so non of his sons can be gay.

While on BBC Africa radio show on Thursday, the governor displayed his dislike for homosexuality when he was asked to talk about the Nigerian anti-gay law.

When asked what he would do if any of his sons confesses to being gay, Governor Yuguda exclaimed, 'God Forbid!'

Mohammed added that he is ready to leave President Goodluck Jonathan’s cabinet whenever he is asked to.
This is coming few days after the minister told newsmen that he, alongside the FCT minister of state, Oloye Olajumoke Akinjide, had been queried by the president over the deplorable sanitary condition and general impropriety in the territory.

The minister made the comment while inaugurating a 19-man committee, headed by FCT police commissioner, Joseph Mbu, to rid the city of miscreants, destitute people and all manner of illegalities.
“I am not afraid of being changed. They had to change cabinet before I came here and so I am under a strict notice, my sister (Minister of State, Oloye Olajumoke Akinjide) and I, anytime that God says we will go, we will go. But while we are here, we will do our duty; we are not afraid of being changed,” he said.

House of Reps uncover fresh missing N35billion

More revelations by the House of Representatives Committee on Public Accounts indicated on Thursday that the Office of the Head of Service of the Federation could not account for N35bn it collected from the Service Wide Vote within nine years. 

While the records of the Budget Office of the Federation showed that the OHSF received N52bn between 2004 and 2012, the Permanent Secretary, Mr. Remi Adelakun, admitted only N17.6bn 

The committee, which is chaired by Mr. Solomon Olamilekan, insisted on Thursday that Adelakun must explain how the N35bn was spent.

Angelina Jolie to undergo more preventive cancer surgeries

 Actress and humanitarian Angelina Jolie has revealed she's in the process of going under the knife again as a preventive measure against the spread of cancer.

The mother of six who had both breasts removed last year after tests showed she carried a gene which increased her chances of contracting both breast and ovarian cancer, told Entertainment Weekly the new operation is to prevent ovarian cancer

Missing Malaysian plane flew 5 more hours after its communication system shut down?

U.S investigators believe that the missing Malaysian Airlines Flight 370 communication system were shut off manually and that the plane flew for at least 5 more hours after it dropped off the radar based on analysis of signals sent by the jet's satellite communication link.

 U.S counterterrorism officials are pursuing the possibility that a pilot or someone else on board the plane may have diverted it toward an undisclosed location after intentionally turning off the jetliner's transponders to avoid radar detection, according to one person tracking the probe.

Three separate tracking devices shut down during the flight, 14 minutes apart, and continued to fly after the last known contact, which means the plane was intentionally diverted. But by who? The pilots or it was hijacked and diverted? If this theory is to be believed, then it means the plane landed somewhere and everyone is safe and alive? Very unlikely!

Malaysian authorities said yesterday that they have several "pings" from the plane's data system, transmitted to satellites in the five hours after the plane's last communication, suggesting the plane flew to the Indian Ocean, which is in the opposite direction of the plane's original route. U.S govt have now sent a search party to the Indian Ocean

OJB sets up Kidney Foundation

Prolific music producer Babatunde Okungbowa aka OJB has set up a kidney related foundation that would focus on helping kidney patients in the country. OJB who is still recuperating from a Kidney transplant he had last year in India spoke with Encomium magazine about the Foundation

"It  would be called OJB Foundation. We are trying to set up one or more dialysis centers which patients will use at highly affordable cost. To this end we are discussing with partners who would make this happen. We are about to start the programme. We don't just want to be begging for funds. We have to look for a sustainable format. So we want to start a Save 20 campaign. From there, we move on with the support of the private sector, Government and Non Governmental Organizations, NGO" OJB said.

OJB also said he is currently working on his new album which is expected to drop in June.

Doctors now fear the baby girl, yet to be named, has slim chance of survival.

The parents are very distressed now and the doctors are helping the family the best they can.

Kidnappers Of Wazobia FM Journalist Demand Ransom For Victim Release

The gunmen, who seized a presenter with Wazobia FM in Port Harcourt, Anthony Akatakpo, popularly known as Akas Baba, on Thursday, are asking for a ransom of N10 million naira, the journalist’s employers have said.

The management of Steam and Globe Broadcasting and Communications Limited, owners of the station are however calling for the unconditional release of Mr. Akatakpo.

Mr. Akatakpo, an on-air radio personality with the station was kidnapped from his home by unidentified gunmen in the early hours of Thursday. Steam and Globe Broadcasting and Communications Limited is the owner of Cool FM, Wazobia FM and Nigeria Info.

SAD: Former President Of Ohaneze Ndigbo Dead

The former President-General of Ohaneze Ndigbo, publisher and scholar, Ambassador Ralph Uwechue, has died on Thursday in Abuja at the age of 79.

Confirming the death of the former leaders, the President-General, Ogwashi-Uku Development Union, Emmanuel Okafor, characterized Uwechue as an illustrious son of Ogwashi-Uku community in Delta.According to his words, Uwechue's death is a big loss to the Igbos, Delta and the entire nation.
The official also stressed that the deceased was an "exceptional human being that was loved by all".

Responding to the sad news, Chief Lawrence Okolobi, the spokesman of Obi of Ogwashi-Uku, said Uwechue as a president-general of Ohaneze Ndigbo, tried to "unite the entire Igbos with his ideology and the Igbo race will ever remember him for that."

TRAGEDY: Ten students of Government Day Secondary School in Katsina state dies

Ten students of Government Day Secondary School in Kankara town in Katsina state on wednesday lost their lives in a ghastly motor accident when a truck loaded with timber which they boarded to help get them to school had a head on collision with another truck which was coming from the opposite direction.

10 of the students died on the spot while four were critically injured. Their corpses were taken to the Kankara General Hospital. Activities at their school was suspended to mourn the dead students. May their souls rest in peace..Amen.

Was Missing Malaysian Plane Taken By UFO?

Up till now, the whole world is still wondering what could have happened to the Boeing 777-200ER which took off from Kuala Lumpur, the Malaysian capital, at 12:41 a.m. on Saturday, with 239 people on board.
It was expected to arrive in Beijing at 6:30 a.m. the same day, after a roughly 4,350 kilometre journey. But around 1:30 a.m., air traffic controllers in Subang, outside Kuala Lumpur, lost contact with the plane over the sea between Malaysia and Vietnam.

 Popular Nigerian dance diva, Kaffy Shafau, who operates ‘Imagneto Dance Company’ in Ajah area of Lagos, is up to something unique once again.

The beautiful dancer, who has shown to the world that with love, nothing is impossible, has revealed that she is set for another edition of the ‘Imagneto Dance Day’.

The event is a fitness/dance workout concept, which debuted on the 3rd of March, 2012 at the National Stadium in Surulere, Lagos.
