COVENANT UNIVERSITY BANS STUDENTS FROM WATCHING FIFA WORLD CUP MATCHES

Reports reaching FNN indicate that Covenant University is at it again. This time around, they have passed a directive to all students ahead of the Brazil 2014 World Cup starting next week to the effect that no student must watch any of the matches for the footballing festival.

The reason for this strange order by the school management is that Brazil is a country known for immoralities, and the stadia will be full of indecently dressed girls and women who will corrupt the morals of the God fearing students in the school.

When FNN contacted the Dean of Students to throw more light on this recent development, he also said ‘in addition to the this sanctions, as long as stubborn players like Cristiano Ronaldo and Mario Balotelli will play in the mundial, the girls in Covenant University are not safe’.

SSS DECLARES TIWA SAVAGE WANTED!!!

Madam Marilyn Ogar of the SSS has declared female pop sensation, Tiwa Savage a wanted fugitive.
The apparent reason for this is her latest video which is giving many well meaning Nigerians heart attacks. Tiwa Savage, whose latest hit music video, WANTED was spiced with sexy scenes and sexy images is now a security threat according to Marilyn Ogar.

When FNN tried contacting SSS headquarters in Abuja, the security operatives refused to divulge information to our correspondent, but a staff who pleaded anonimity managed to tell FNN that the SSS and the military have strong intel to show that the music video constituted a viral syndrome which affected mainly men and this was having a direct impact on the security forces battling the insurgency in the north.

As a cure, the SSS where putting out a warrant for Tiwa so she could perform for the affected soldiers to help ease their ‘pain’.

19-year-old Nigerian, Miss Aisha Eniola, has won an election into the Brent Council in London, United Kingdom.

Aisha, a final year student of Mass Communication in one of the London universities, is the daughter of former Welsh Harp Councillor, Francis Eniola and represents Harlesden Ward.

She is the great granddaughter of the late Ohinoyi of Oboroke-Ihima, Chief Audu Ojunu.

In the election, Aisha’s brilliance and oratorial prowess during the debates which preceded the election warmed her into the hearts of residents of the ward.

Delta Airlines Lagos to Atlanta flight makes unscheduled stop in Senegal

A Delta Airlines flight going from Lagos to Atlanta  June 9th was diverted to Dakar Senegal after a threat was detected on board the flight. A passenger who tweeted about the incident said another passenger on board seemed to have smuggled a bag of dynamite on the plane.

Speaking about the diversion, Delta Airlines Director Corporate Communications, Europe, Middle East and Africa, Olivia Cullis, said the flight was diverted to Dakar for “precautionary reasons”.

"Delta flight DL55 from Lagos to Atlanta diverted to Dakar, Senegal for precautionary reasons. After a short stop, the flight resumed to the United States. The safety and security of our passengers and crew is our number one priority.” She explained.

Kelly Rowland Pregnant With First Child Just One Month After Tying The Knot

The former Destiny’s Child member and newlywed subtly made the announcement on Tuesday by posting a photo of Air Jordan sneakers with a small baby pair next to them on her social media accounts.

Married Couple Kills 2 Police Officers in Vegas then Shoots Themselves

A married couple killed two Las Vegas policemen at a pizza restaurant on Sunday morning. They reportedly yelled out “revolution” as they shot the men.

After gunning down the officers, the couple proceeded to kill a shopper at Walmart, located right across the restaurant, CNN reports.

Their shooting rampage ended when the wife fatally shot her husband and then killed herself, as police closed in on them.

The couple’s motive for the attack is still unknown. However, a policeman reportedly stated that the incident may have occurred due to the couple’s extremist views toward law enforcement.

Jonathan Impounds Amaechi’s Jet In Kano For Backing Sanusi As New Emir of Kano

 President Goodluck Jonathan on Sunday night ordered Nigerian aviation authorities to prevent the jet carrying Rivers State Governor, Rotimi Amaechi from leaving the Kano International Airport.
The plane was grounded after security agencies decided APC leader Bola Tinubu, ex-governor Bukola Saraki, ex-governor Danjuma Goje and Governor Amaechi were instrumental to pressurizing the Governor of Kano State, Rabiu Kwankwaso, to ratify ex-CBN Governor Sanusi Lamido Sanusi as new Emir of Kano.

The Bombardier aircraft which was recently released to the governor could not leave the airport as aviation agencies claimed there was an order "from above" to stop flights out of the Mallam Aminu Kano International Airport in Kano, leaving the governor and his aides no other option than to travel by road out of Kano at the risk of their lives...

Gunmen abduct two pretty sisters from their Home in Abuja, demand N200million

 Armed gunmen in a blue Honda with registration nos HR152ABC on Sunday abducted the two ladies pictured above, Ejura Opaluwa and Unekwu Opaluwa ( Ejura is a medical student at St. Lucia University, South America while Unekwu is a Covenant University student, studying Economics) from their home in Karmo Abuja.  Graphic images of a suspected rebel 'traitor', strung up and crucified on a road sign in a Syrian town square, have been posted online by Islamist extremists.

DailyMail reports that the man, whose T-shirt is drenched in his own drying blood, was executed after he was accused of helping government forces in a country torn in two by a brutal civil war. Pinned to his chest is a sign bearing a cryptic message that reads: 'Cleanliness is a civilised matter that shows your ethics and love for your country.'

Behind the killing is the hardline Islamic group Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIS), a faction so extreme that it has been disavowed by Al Qaeda. Kefee Diagnosed with Pre-Eclampsia, Needs a Miracle to Survive —Doctor

According to a new report on Tribune, the chances of Kefee getting out of coma is slim as her situation not only requires prayers for survival, but also a miracle as the musician has been diagnosed as having pre-eclampsia – pregnancy induced high blood pressure.

Six-month pregnant Kefee had embarked on a 14-hour flight to Chicago for an event but went into coma, forcing the plane to land in Los Angeles so that she could be urgently attended to. A source told Tribune during a phone conversation:

“Kefee surely did not know that she had a high blood pressure before she embarked on
the long trip and suddenly went into coma in the air. That she is pregnant has made her situation dicey, so she will need a miracle to survive, a doctor told me”,

FOR obvious reason, Nollywood actress Stella Damasus and her alleged lover, Daniel Ademinokan, a movie director, seem not to have been sleeping with their two eyes closed in recent times.
