SHOCKING: 2015 Presidential Election Ballot Papers Found In London (PHOTOS)

 According to a breaking news report on SaharaReporters, ballots meant for the Nigerian presidential election were found yesterday at the premises of a local printer in the Essex area of London. Their sources said the sensitive election materials, which ought to have arrived in Nigeria earlier in the week, were unsecured at the premises of Panther Printing Services in London.

 SaharaReporters was able to confirm that a Nigerian firm named Cemoz International Limited had been contracted to print some ballot papers for the 2015 presidential elections. A spokesman for the Independent National Electoral Commission, Kayode Idowu, confirmed to SaharaReporters that Cemoz International Limited was one of the firms awarded the contract to print ballot papers.

According to this Twitter user, Boko Haram right now in Gombe are dropping letters warning people to stay away from the March 28 elections.

Earlier on today, hundreds of Boko Haram Islamists invaded and attacked the restive northeast Nigerian city of Gombe, firing heavy guns. AFP reports that locals also confirmed to them that the insurgents  threw leaflets at them that were asking them to boycott the forthcoming general elections.

University of Maiduguri to Resume Despite Boko Haram Threats!!!!

University of Maiduguri staff and students have been asked to return to school on March 2 for the second semester of its 2014/2015 academic session despite apprehension and security threat posed by boko haram.

The institutions Chief Information Officer, Malam Ahmed Mohammed, said academic activities will start in earnest on the announced date as scheduled in the school's calendar.

"This is to inform all students, parents, guardians and staff that the University of Maiduguri will re-open for the 2nd semester, 2014/2015 session on Monday March 2,
2015 as contained in the university's calendar,"

Nigerian-born British actor, David Oyelowo played Martin Luther King, Jr. in the biographical drama film, Selma, for which he received a Golden Globe Award nomination for Best Actor (Drama).

The multiple award winning actor recently visited Nigeria for the Selma movie screening, an event that was put together by The Rock Cathedral and the American Embassy. In a chat with Saturday Beats, Oyelowo said that what he missed most about Nigeria is the food, most especially pounded yam. He said:

A woman in Utah has pleaded guilty to killing six of her newborns and storing their bodies in the garage, bringing her case closer to resolution.

Megan Huntsman, 09, faces up to life time in prison when she is sentenced April 20. her voice broke as She said guilty six times to answer for each count.

The infants remains were found by huntsman's estranged husband, Darren West in April 2014 as he gathered belongings from the home they had shared in Pleasant Grove. He called the police after finding the first tiny body in a cardboard box. Authorities found the rest, seven in all, one of which they said was stillborn.

The leader of the Roman Catholic Church, Pope Francis has opined that fertile couple who chose not to have children are selfish and that low birth rate communities are depressed.
In his sermon to a gathering of faithfuls at St Peters square, he stated

"If a generous family of children is viewed as if it were a burden, there is something wrong! As the Encyclical Humanae Vitae of Blessed Pope Paul VI teaches, but having more children cannot be automatically viewed as an irresponsible choice. The choice to not have children is selfish. Life rejuvenates and acquires energy when it multiplies: It is enriched, not impoverished! Children learn to take charge of their family, they mature in the sharing of sacrifices, and they grow in appreciation of its gifts."

Apapa Magistrates’ Court
The police have arraigned a 27-year-old man, Tope Akintade, for impregnating a primary three pupil, Beatrice (pseudonym), after he allegedly raped her.

Akintade and Beatrice, an orphan, are neighbours at a compound on Baale Street, Agboju, Kuje in the Amuwo area of Lagos State.

PUNCH Metro learnt that the 13-year-old victim was outside washing plates in the afternoon, sometime in November, when Akintade, who hails from the Idanre Local Government Area, Ondo State, lured her to his room and forcefully had sex with her.

The National Delegates Conference of the Nigeria Labour Congress ended in crisis on Thursday as participants failed to elect   a new president to succeed Abdulwahed Omar.
