It also can make or break a relationship. If the kissing goes, the sex is often next. Intimacy is gone. If you keep your kissing alive, you can keep your relationship going, increasing the bond you have. Kiss! More!
Yes, kissing is that important. There are some details about kissing that shed some light on how important it really is, but they also may make you reevaluate your relationship. Check out these nine fascinating kissing facts.

1. Almost no other animals kiss.
Chimps and bonobos kiss but not with the kind of passion humans do. Hear that? Passion! We have it. We need it. We love it. And we deserve it.....

Presidency defends Abacha’s Centenary Award honour

President Jonathan's spokesman Reuben Abati has explained why late military dictator Gen. Sani Abacha was given the controversial Centenary Award, saying that the government was in no way supporting corrupt practices...

"This (award) does not in any means translate to supporting sharp practices or corrupt practices. It is important to make the clear distinction in this regard.
I think it is important to make the necessary distinction here. The centenary award, like every award, has its own criteria. That centenary award was in relation to the amalgamation, the national unity, the history of Nigeria and the roles played by certain individuals.
The centenary award was not a test of sainthood. In giving the award to the former Head of State, Gen. Abacha, the committee in charge made it very clear that the award in the category in which the former Head of State appeared was awarded with regard to the contributions of those individuals in keeping Nigeria together." Senator Grace Wants Gender Equality In Constitution

Senator Grace Bent has warned that unless the 35% affirmative action on women is enshrined in the Nigerian constitution, achieving gender equality in the country would remain a mirage.

Speaking yesterday in Abuja during a lecture to mark the International Women’s Day organised by the Abuja correspondent chapel of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Senator Bent called for a consensus action on gender equality, adding that the country cannot continue to play lip-service to the issue.

“There must be a general consensus on this gender equality in Nigeria. This cannot be realised if it is not deliberately enshrined in the Nigerian constitution. We cannot continue to play lip service to the 35% affirmative action”, she said.

Bent who noted that the 35% affirmative action was a colossal failure in Nigeria, appealed to President Goodluck Jonathan to liaise with the ruling Peoples’Democratic Party (PDP) to make the issue a constitutional matter.

In a keynote address, Chairman, Senate Committee on Women Affairs and Youth Development, Senator Helen Esuene, noted that the 35% affirmative was meant to address the imbalance in the society, adding that women’s contributions to political leadership were critical to societal development.

BOKO HARAM: Why Court Denied Kogi Varsity Lecturer Bail

The accused lecturer who had been in the custody of the Directorate of State Service, DSS, since October 30, 2013, was on February 3, transferred to Kuje Prison, Abuja, on the order of the trial high court.

Others the court ordered should remain in prison custody yesterday were Alhaji Salami Abdullahi and Umar Musa, who were both accused of belonging to the Boko Haram sect.

In a ruling, Justice Gabriel Kolawole, said it would not be in the interest of justice to release the accused persons at this stage of their trial, stressing that in view of the prevailing atrocious acts of the Boko Haram sect in the North Eastern part of the country, it was safer to deny them bail.

Citing the wanton and mindless killing of innocent people, especially the recent massacre of students of the Federal Government College Buni Yadi by members of the Boko Haram, Justice Kolawole, said he was minded to exercise his discretionary powers to grant bail against the accused persons.
