UCLA football staff want charges against P Diddy dropped!!!

 

Football coaches at UCLA apparently want the felony charges against Sean 'Diddy' Combs dropped.

According to TMZ

Sources directly connected with the team tell TMZ, the coaches are regretful the situation escalated to an arrest. They think Diddy is a jerk who they'd like to make persona non grata, but they don't want to make this a courtroom spectacle, largely because it would be bad for the team.

This is what you get when you drive while drunk!

Juventus star Arturo Vidal has been arrested by Chilean police after he wrecked his £230,000 Ferrari while allegedly under the influence of alcohol in Santiago, Chile. The accident happened last night but thankfully he was not injured. His wife who was with him in the car was also not seriously injured. Arturo only had a slight bruise on his neck while his wife's elbow was damaged.

Cristiano Ronaldo's mother got herself into trouble with the law recently when she was found to have been travelling with €55,000 (which equals N12.3million) in her hand luggage. according to reports in Spain.

Europa Press reports that Dolores Aveiro was in the Barajas airport in Madrid in April when a routine search found out how much money she was carrying. The maximum amount of cash a person is permitted to carry on an aeroplane when leaving Spain is €10,000, leading to the mother of the three-time Ballon d'Or winner being detained when it was revealed she had over five times the legal limit.

Reigning World Footballer of the year and Real Madrid star, Cristiano Ronaldo was spotted leaving Saint Tropez’s exclusive club Le Quai in the early hours of Monday.

After leaving he was caught urinating in front of an ice cream store in the upmarket old harbour area of Saint Tropez as his friends stood guard nearby.

Despite trying to hide behind a car, port security guard agents were quick to spot the star, and immediately asked him to move on from the area. He wasn’t arrested, he only got a warning. More photos below……

Sepp Blatter resigns as FIFA president

Sepp Blatter on Tuesday resigned as president of FIFA as a mounting corruption scandal engulfed world football’s governing body.

The 79-year-old Swiss official, FIFA president for 17 years and only reelected on Friday, said a special congress would be called to elect a successor.

Blatter said that the scandal-tainted FIFA needs “profound reconstruction” and that he had “thoroughly reconsidered” his presidency since his reelection.

Problem: Manny Pacquiao undergoes shoulder surgery following Mayweather defeat

Manny Pacquiao has undergone surgery on a torn rotator cuff in in his injured right shoulder.

Following his defeat to Floyd Mayweather on Saturday night, the Filipino revealed he had been suffering with the issue in the buildup to the fight.

He requested a painkilling injection two hours before the bout but was denied because he had left it too late to disclose the injury.

Pacquiao, 36, went under the knife on Wednesday and is expected to be out of action for up to a year.

Aliko Dangote insists on buying Arsenal...

Africa’s richest man, Aliko Dangote, has said he is still working towards buying Arsenal Football Club, despite the fact that his bid to acquire a stake in the club was rebuffed by the owners in 2010.

In an interview with Bloomberg, while on a journey from Addis Ababa to Lagos last Friday, Dangote expressed hope that his new strategy would enable him buy the north London club at a price the owners won’t want to resist.

He said, “I still hope, one day at the right price, that I’ll buy the team. I might buy it, not at a ridiculous price but a price that the owners won’t want to resist. I know my strategy,” Dangote, a known fan of the north London club, said.

Serena Williams Withdraws From Indian Wells With Knee Injury...

Serena Williams withdrew before her semifinal at the BNP Paribas Open on Friday night with a right knee injury, 14 years after her sister Venus did the same thing and triggered an angry reaction from fans that drove Serena to boycott the tournament.

The world's top-ranked player was to play third-seeded Simona Halep in the second semifinal. Williams addressed the crowd on-court after Jelena Jankovic defeated Sabine Lisicki 3-6, 6-3, 6-1.

"A couple days ago at practice I really injured my knee," Williams said. "Today I was struggling just to even walk."
