Chika Amalaha fails 'B' sample test, stripped of commonwealth gold

16 year old Nigerian weightlifter, Chika Amalaha has been stripped of her Commonwealth Gold medal after her 'b' sample tested positive to banned substances.

Commonwealth Games Federation announced today Friday August 1 that her B sample also showed traces of the substances amiloride and hydrochlorothiazide, both of which are banned by the World Anti-Doping Agency. Amalaha might face a sports ban of up to 2 years.
