Fire razes Zenith Bank building in Lagos State!!!

The Zenith Bank building located at Plot 87, Ajose Adeogun Street, Victoria Island, Lagos State was razed on Thursday.

The fire saw many of the occupants of the building scampering for safety.

The Lagos State Fire Director, Rasak Fadipe, said the Fire Service “responded immediately to the distress call put across to our office”.



Fadipe added: “The fire was put out by our men who raced to the bank.

“They also rescued some of the staff of the bank who were trapped.”

The fire was said to have caused by a power surge from one of the offices.

Fadipe said no life was lost.

The Public Relations Officer of the National Emergency Management Agency for the South West, Ibrahim Farinloye, said the fire only affected a room in the building.
