ACT OF SHAME: House Of Reps Fight Each Other Over Leadership Positions (Photos)

 

After fracas broke out on the ground of the Home of Representatives, Speaker of the Home, Yakubu Dogara, has adjourned plenary until July 21.

some lawmakers,especially those loyal to the current speaker Yakubu Dogara felt the party has no right to dictate the leadership of the assembly.

Before the adjournment, he appealed to members to shun any act that would be inimical to the reputation and unity of the House.

Pandemonium broke out when the Speaker, Yakubu Dogara was about commencing the business of the day.
Many of the representatives were shielding Speaker, Yakubu Dogara and chanting: Dogara! Dogara!!
Others are chanting APC! APC!! and stressing party supremacy

Some members had attempted to remove the mace but were wrestled off by Dogara’s supporters.
It was however learnt that it was later removed by the sergeant-at-arms, in order to avoid damage.
