Buhari will encourage free press – Vice President-elect, Osinbajo

As the decision of General Mohammadu Buhari to bar AIT journalists from covering his activities continues to generate ripples, his running mate in the March 28 election and Vice President-elect, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, has assured that the incoming administration will encourage free press when they assume power.

Osinbajo yesterday used his twitter handle, @ProfOsinbajo, to tweet, “Gen. Buhari’s administration will encourage free press and its role in aggregating the people’s view & presenting them lucidly to govt.”
