Gun Men Kidnap US Missionary Woman in Nigeria...(Picture)

An American missionary in Nigeria identified as Rev. Phyllis Sortor has been reportedly kidnapped by gunmen in Kogi State.

 ''She was abducted from the Hope Academy compound in Emiworo, Kogi State, Nigeria where she has been working for 10 years by gunmen around 10:00am on monday,” the church said.

The Kogi State Police command confirmed the Kidnapping and said five gunmen, two of  them wearing mask, scaled the fence bordering the missionary's compound, fired several gunshots and made off with her.

No group has claimed responsibilty for the act
