Jonathan finally rewards the designer of National flag, Taiwo Akinkunmi

 President Goodluck Jonathan today placed the designer of the National Flag, Mr Taiwo Akinkunmi, on a lifetime salary as Special Assistant to the President.

The president gave the directive yesterday in Abuja after conferring national honour awards on 313 distinguished Nigerians.

The announcement is coming in days before the 54th independence day anniversary celebration.
Pa Michael Taiwo Akinkunmi born on 10th May 1936 in Ibadan, was honored with officer of the order of Federal Republic (OFR) at the conference center Abuja; He was decorated by His Excellency Goodluck Ebele Jonathan (GCFR).

He is married with one wife and kids.
