Majority leader of EBHA kidnapped by gunmen

The Majority leader of Ebonyi State House of Assembly, Mr. Samuel Nwali was yesterday kidnapped by gunmen in Abakaliki, the state capital.

However, a member representing Afikpo South East, Eni Uduma Chima confirmed the incident.

Meanwhile, a source who pleaded anonymity said the kidnap of Mr. Nwali may not be unconnected with the crisis at the House of Assembly over the impeachment of the Former Speaker, Mr. Chukwuma Nwazunku last Monday.
