A U.S Army Soldier Used Singing To Conquer Fear In Battle. Now He Sings To Inspire Us. (Video)

When Paul Ieti was sent to Afghanistan for nine months to serve with other members of the United States Army, he used singing to get himself and his fellow soldiers through some of the tougher moments.

Ieti, who has been a singer since birth, decided upon returning to the US that he wanted to bring his vocal talents to a bigger stage.

Ieti appeared on America’s Got Talent, and used his moment in the spotlight to perform a stunning rendition of Rihanna’s “Stay.”

He manages to captivate his audience from the very first note, and the judges were so impressed by his recital that they went out of their way to hug the singer after he finished the song.

There’s a reason that the show’s producers decided to play the theme song from “Rudy” after he finished singing; this is a classic feel good story that could get even better with time.
