'Pastor' Holds Member Hostage, Robs Him Of N3.1m

A fake pastor, Ndubuisi Ignatius was paraded yesterday by the Ogun state police command for engaging in fraudulent activities.

It was gathered that Ignatius who disguised himself as a spiritual father, held hostage one James Nwosu, robbing him of N3,190,000.

The incident happened at James residence at Agbara in Ado Odo Ota Local Government Area of Ogun State.

Ignatius had been the spiritual father to Nwosu’s family for over six months before the incident, after which he was arrested on February 25.

According to the Commissioner of Police, Ikemefuna Okoye, Ignatius confessed to the crime and he would be charged to court after the investigation on the matter is completed.
38 other suspects were also paraded for allegedly engaging in various criminal activities across the state.
